Summary: From the Introduction - "John McIntosh Lyle was born in Belfast, Ireland, On November 13, 1872. He was the son of Reverend Samuel Lyle, pastor of the largest Presbyterian Church in the Irish Assembly at Connor. When he was six the family immigrated to Canada, for in the year 1878 Samuel Lyle accepted the call from Central Presbyterian Church at Hamilton."
