Summary: The Three Gorges dam is the largest electricity-generating facility in the world. A lake approximately 650 kilometers long will form behind it, forcing the relocation of more than one million people and permanently flooding many villages. Still Life follows the efforts of the people of the village of Fengie to come to terms with their new environment after have been made refugees by the flooding of their homes before new homes could be built.
