The film was restored by Lobster Films, Groupama Gan Foundation for cinema and Technicolor Foundation for cinema heritage.

Special features: restored black and white version from the original with two separate audio tracks; interview with the group AIR discussing their new soundtrack; two lunar-related shorts by Méliès names The Eclipse (1904) and The astronomer's dream (1898).
