Mr. Badii is an Iranian of some means who roams the desert area outside of Teheran in search of someone to help him with an odd job for anyone who will help him - he wants someone to come to a remote site to either bury his body or help him dig the hole he may use as a grave. He promises to pay very well for the job, but the very notion frightens the men he approaches. Each of the men he approaches responds in distinctly different ways. A young soldier, ever cautious about being picked up by the older man, literally runs away from him at the first opportunity. The next is a seminary student who is philosophically opposed to the action the man wants to take. A startling, subtly powerful film. With: Homayon Ershadi as Mr. Badii, Abdolrahman Baghieri as Mr. Gabhi (the taxidermist), Afshin Khorshid Bakhtiari as a soldier, Safar Ali Moradi as the soldier, and Mir Hossein Nori as the seminarian.
