Interviewers, Barbara Goldstein, Peter Kirby.Summary: A history of the Case Study House Program initiated by John Entenza of Arts & Architecture magazine in 1945, through interviews with key participants. The Program was an attempt to shape the course of the post-World War II building boom away from traditional housing and toward progressive modern design by using new technologies to produce well-designed affordable housing. Includes film of ten of the houses built in the Program, and commentary by the architects and original clients.
