"The film PHANTOM was reconstructed and restored in 2003 on the basis of the original negative and of a dupe negative. This reconstruction of PHANTOM was a collaboration project of Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv, Berlin and the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Foundation, Wiesbaden. It was executed by Luciano Berriatúa and Camille Blot-Wellens on behalf of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Foundation."
