She often offers shelter to Gregoire, a 16 year-old male prostitute. But Gregoire has taken a 12 year-old protégé under his wing and Maude starts to reconsider the extent of her generosity. Meanwhile a serial killer is roaming the streets, leaving mutilated corpses in his wake, and Maude may be the only detective wily enough to track him down. This French-Canadian thriller was directed by Jean Beaudin, the director of "Being At Home With Claude".
