Jackie plays a stoic cop who makes a big splash after capturing a vicious drug kingpin on his own. The notoriety is short-lived when the kingpin frames him for another cop's murder, sending the cop on the run to prove his innocence, protect the witnesses who know the truth, and stop his girlfriend from deserting him. It's all in a day's work for Mr. Chan. As per usual, Jackie suffered several serious injuries during the shooting of "Police Story". Some of the more "entertaining" ones include hand burns and a dislocated pelvis.
