' "Just as sure as the sun shines there will be within this Province alone some day a population running into the tens of millions" Odd as Walter Scott's words sound to us today, it was just this kind of bold vision that made possible the construction of the Largest Legislative Building in Canada in the center of the vast plain in Southern Saskatchewan. While Scott's population projectsions for the new province were never realized, his equally bold vision for the buildings which was to house Saskatchewan's legislative Assembly very soon became a reality '
