Cast: Max Fleischer, Koko the Clown.Summary: One of the most prominent developers of American animation was Max Fleischer, whose career was well established a decade before the initial efforts of Walt Disney. Fleischer's experiments led to the development of the Rotoscope technique in 1914, which resulted in the first lifelike animation prodiced after the initial works of Winsor McCay. Fleischer's combination of animation and live action resulted in the 'out of the inkwell' series produced from 1919 to 1929.
